Robert Padavick leads Virtual Reality, 360-degree video and other emerging storytelling productions for the USA TODAY NETWORK. His team produces weekly features in VR and helps develop, organize, and scale emerging storytelling tools for the entire USA TODAY NETWORK.

Robert co-created “VRtually There”, one of the first weekly news series native to VR, now in its second season. Other projects have included live 360-degree coverage of the Presidential Inauguration, exclusive VR coverage of the 100th running of the Indy 500, and the Murrow-Award winning “Harvest of Change” with the Des Moines Register.

Previously, Padavick helped implement original content strategies and production at Yahoo News, leading their first-ever originals team on a number of large-scale projects. He has directed multimedia strategy for human rights organizations and produced international coverage for CNN and NBC News. He is a graduate of the Ohio University Scripps School of Journalism.
